Sex and Spirituality

Sex and Spirituality. The different words. Some will agree and many will disagree if there is a debate on this subject. I strongly beleive there is a definite and very strong connection between sex and spirituality. But that requires some education on this 2 word individualy.

Lets consider Spirituality first:

Spirituality has long been associated with religion, deities, the supernatural, and an afterlife. Many equate spirituality with religion, but the two are separate entities, religion being one way man experiences spirituality. Spirituality may include introspection, and the development of an individual's inner life through practices such as meditation, prayer and contemplation.

Or simply stated spirituality is one's character or quality that makes one transcend the barriers of worldliness, caste, creed and sensuality; and realize one's connection with the Truth.

We have mixed the spirituality with religion more than in general sense. Spirituality strongly observs with religious wroks and meditations. We find peace and destination through spirituality. Our daliy when it gets mixed up urban first pace life style, then the defination of spirituality finds a different form.

Urban people deter the spirituality word in more than religious marks. Spirituality can over shelf in any form. Many people thinks spirituality is nothing but to relish peace for your own holy soul. So soul cannot only find peace through religious works.

Sex:

In biology, sex is a process of combining and mixing genetic traits, often resulting in the specialization of organisms into a male or female variety (known as a sex).

Our Indian society always taken the word and term as BAD word. Teenage and young people should not discuss the word in public. Lots of hide and seek play happens with the SEX word.But still we are fastest growing populated country and currently world's 2nd most populated country. Young people always gets enthuastic and fantasy with the word. They slowly creates a differnt face inside their mind. Mind stays healthy if gets controlled with firm. Else some sex phychic borns. Sexual relation gets healthy and peaceful when the Sex word doesn't have BAD influence in the mind.

So regarding the 2 word meaning individually we got some education. So why not spirituality can be related with Sex? I feel through religious form and through our social form Sex relates everyone with spirituality. Love gets its final recognition and final knot in the bonding relation through Sex!! And I think Sex gets more closer towards spirituality when a baby born. I feel the birth is the strong point to beleive that, birth is the real missing link of spirituality.
